And I admit I am not always at my desk. So lets look at a couple of things..... Local Chat - EVE is a player driven sand box right. So why for SOV space areas CCP havent created a communications module that needs to be placed in a system. When a communications HUB is in system then local appears. No communications hub no local. That deals with local chat. Cloaky ships. Again have another hub that sends out a sonar ping say every couple of hours that shows you every ship within system. Including cloaky ships. These ships can be seen by members of a corp in the system map. (Just like scanning). Similar to onlining a structure there is an audible sound that notifies that a sonar ping has been sent out, or maybe a visual affect on a ship. If I was at my desk looking at my cloaky eyes then I would know that may have been found. If I wasnt at my desk then guess what. Gives members in a system a chance to find me. Again no sonar hub in system, no way of finding a cloaky ship. Just a couple of thoughts.

AFK cloaky are a pain, that is what the issue is. So if I was AFK I wouldnt know if the sonar went off and instantly someone in the corp could warp to 0 and bang, one dead cloaky ship. If I was at my desk then yeah I know sonar went off. Maybe instead of being a set time then the sonar can only be activated a set nbr of times every hour. Then that way it is not so structured. So someone can activated it three time in the first ten minutes or maybe stretched out over the hour. Again I like the way you say, I don't have a clue to fix, but you state my idea doesnt work... At least I have ideas....
